Do you see all ages?
We specialize in adult psychiatry, ages 18-64.
Will you collaborate on care with my therapist and other providers?
Yes. All you have to do is sign a release of information and we will make a strong effort to coordinate care with your providers
Does every appointment have to be on video?
Yes, to ensure a complete and accurate assessment, it is vital that the NP can see you for EVERY appointment. Also, for safety purposes, Telemedicine appointments cannot be carried out while patients are driving.
Do you prescribe benzodiazepines?
We do not prescribe or continue prescriptions for benzodiazepines.
What can you say to those who are worried about taking medication for their mental health?
The mere thought of having to start medication for your mental health can be overwhelming. However, If you have reached the point where your mental illness has significantly impacted your ability to work, maintain interpersonal relationships, or properly care for your basic needs, it may be time to consider medication. Chenelle will be patient with you and will discuss all of your options.
Do you take insurance?
We currently accept: Cigna, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim, Health plans Inc., Tufts PPO, HMO and Public plans, inc., United Behavioral Health, MGB, ComPsych, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Do you do evaluations for disability, worker’s compensation, support animals, marijuana cards or forensic evaluations?
No, we do not do these evaluation as they are best done by medical professionals that specialize in those areas.
Are you available for emergencies?
We are unable to provide emergency medical or psychiatric care. Please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room in case of an emergency.
